One of your reading assignments sent you to the USGS Real-Time Water Data System. Use that system to locate a stream near your home or a place that you visit and post a report on it in the "Stream Monitoring Conference."
Your report should include the name of the stream, the location of the gaging station on that stream, and a detailed explanation (in your own words) of why monitoring that stream was important enough for USGS to install a gaging station there. Give some examples of who might use the stage and discharge data collected by that station.
